How to perform Inkjet Printer Troubleshooting

If the Inkjet printer is not printing this can be due to some electronic problem, it can be due to some connection problems also. Others problems like problems with the cartridges or printer can also stop the printing. If you are using HP printer then opting for the online HP support will be the best option. If you have noticed any error message on the computer screen or if you have seen a series of blinking lights you can go for troubleshooting and solving the problems.

If you don't see any type of error message on your computer screen or if have not heard any noises from the printer yet you can see that the printer is not printing you need to check some things. At first, ensure that the printer is plugged in and turned on properly or not. If you see that the problem was there with the plugging on issue it will be solved within minutes. Ensure that your computer is connected properly with the printer or not. If it was not properly connected you need to connect it properly and you will see your printer is working now.

You can find that your printer is working but the pages that it is printing out are off color, blurred or light. If you see problems like this you will know that the printer has problems with the printing cartridge. If your printer is equipped with an ink level indicator, check that if any of the colors is low. For example, if the print out pages is seen to be very red pages, you will know that the yellow cartridge in your printer is out. Blurry types means that you need to change the type of media you are printing on. For example if you are going to type some glossy pages you need to command the printer about it so that the printer disperses the required amount of ink. If your printing media is set correctly and your ink level is also ok then you need to check the issue like print head according to computer support experts. Print head is the part of the printer that disperses the ink on the pages that come out as print outs. If you take some cotton wet in some alcohol and clean off the print head of the printer, then this problem can be solved. Some printers have cleaning mode and running the design would clean the print head.

Another problem can be paper jam. It is quite a common problem according to computer support team. Normally it is indicated by blinking lights and you can solve the problem simply by opening the printer and removing the paper.

If a printer try to feed more than one paper at a time or it can feed no paper at all. Check the manual of the printer to find out if you are using a paper weight which is compatible with your printer. Ensure that the papers are placed in the right area otherwise the printer will not be able to roll the papers properly.

If you see that your printouts are clear and the color is also fine yet the text is gibberish, you will know that the problem may be with the printer driver. Make sure that you have updated your printer driver or not. Check that whether it is compatible with your operating system or not. If you see any of the problems just try to update your printer driver making it compatible with your system and the problem will be solved.
